Abel Mendez – Chief Executive Officer Abel Mendez is a dedicated firefighter with five years of experience in fire protection and emergency services. Over the course of his career, he has completed numerous advanced fire courses and medical training, gaining specialized skills in fire prevention, safety, and emergency response. Currently pursuing an associate’s degree in Fire Service Leadership and Administration, Abel Mendez is committed to furthering his expertise and leadership in the fire service. In addition to his work in fire safety, Abel Mendez is the CEO and co-founder of Firesafe Pro, a company specializing in fire inspections, prevention, and life-saving medical training. His passion for protecting lives extends beyond emergency response to proactive education and prevention, with a mission to equip individuals and businesses with the knowledge and tools to stay safe. Beyond his work in fire safety, Abel Mendez is also the Chief Operating Officer of PureVitality Wellness, a company dedicated to enhancing overall well-being through optimal IV therapy and peptides. At PureVitality, Abel Mendez works to help clients improve their health, boost energy, and achieve a higher quality of life. With a unique combination of expertise in both public safety and wellness, Abel Mendez is driven to make a lasting impact in multiple areas of health and safety, continually striving to create healthier, safer communities.
Gunnar Graf – Chief Operating Officer Gunnar Graf is a dedicated firefighter, EMS instructor, and fire instructor with over five years of experience in education and public safety. As a certified educator through TCFP, Gunnar has a passion for teaching others how to stay safe and prepared in any emergency. His extensive background in firefighting and emergency medical services drives his commitment to equipping individuals and organizations with the knowledge and tools needed to protect lives and property. As the COO of FireSafe Pro L.L.C., Gunnar helps lead the company in delivering top-notch consulting, training, and safety solutions. He is also the Battalion Chief and President of the Kirby Volunteer Fire Department, where he exemplifies leadership and dedication to community safety. In addition, Gunnar serves as the CEO of PureVitality Wellness, a mobile IV med spa and wellness company that focuses on improving health and well-being. Whether on the front lines, in the classroom, or in the wellness space, his mission is clear: to educate, empower, and enhance safety and health for communities everywhere.
William Whitney – Chief Strategic Officer As Chief Strategy Officer, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise in emergency services, leadership, and strategic planning. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Leadership with a concentration in Emergency Service Administration at UNT Dallas, building on a Bachelor’s in Emergency Medical Care. My education covers performance management, strategic planning, GIS, fire prevention, legal and ethical aspects of emergency services, and community assessment, providing a strong foundation for guiding organizations to success. Combined with certifications such as TCFP Fire Officer IV, Fire Marshal, Certified Fire Executive, Licensed Paramedic, and Critical Care Paramedic, I offer a comprehensive and informed perspective on emergency service systems. My career began at 15 as a lifeguard and wilderness first responder, evolving into roles as a paramedic, flight paramedic, and ultimately Fire Chief and Training Chief. Over the years, I have led teams of over 100, managed fire and EMS education programs, and provided leadership during complex emergency operations. I am also an experienced instructor and trainer in multiple disciplines, including NAEMT, ASHI, ARC, and AHA programs. From incident command and hazardous materials management to emergency service design and response, I deliver innovative solutions backed by hands-on experience and advanced certifications. Driven by a commitment to saving lives and strengthening communities, I strive to keep families together through strategic, evidence-based approaches. My leadership is grounded in integrity, vast knowledge, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. With an unwavering dedication to public safety and a passion for empowering teams, I am uniquely positioned to help organizations achieve their goals and create lasting, positive impacts.
